SP26 7
This week it was brought to my attention that I have to worry about how the spoons will sit in the kiln and during display. A little evil of Brian, but very necessary to think about and plan for! The spoons don’t “stand” very well but they do rest on the tip of the handle and on a curve on the bottom of the spoon bowl. I set aside a small and a big to slowly dry for bisque. Then I’ll test glaze firing, wiping off the two contact spots so it doesn’t stick to the kiln shelf.
I mixed lots of colored slip for the studio too! It was my first time (it was super simple) doing so. I’m hoping to make my own glaze and practice doing that so I can make some studio glazes.
The hot wire foam cutter came in! I will probably test it in the 3D room where there is ventilation. I would not want to burn foam in the ceramic studio.
Omggggggg guys thats me!
